Based on all my life tracking resources (Facebook, Blog, Twitter), I haven’t run in a race since the half I ran in Oct. 2011. How is that even possible? I think between helping Jeremy find jobs, and then finding myself a job 2012 just got away from me. It’s not that I didn’t run or workout; I did. But just not seriously. I am about to register for the Silver Comet 10k.

Oddly, I’ve never run a 10k before. I’ve run 5k’s, Four Milers, and a Half but not a 10k. I’m kind of excited for the distance. It’s long enough that I feel like I actually need to do some training, but not so long that it takes up a huge amount of time.
I found this training plan on Health.com. I liked that it assumed you have some level of fitness and that is only four weeks. I started this week, so actually I have five weeks giving myself a little wiggle room. Here’s the plan. Clicking on the picture will take you to the full plan plus one for a half.
So here we go. First race in Atlanta and Item #22 on the list.
