Ahh Thursday, so sweet, so close to the weekend.
Summer beer is here! Yay! This is a new beer for me, but my friend Mindy has been raving about it for the last couple of summers. I am so glad I listened to her; she knows good beer.
Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy. This is an excellent summer beer; it tastes like sunshine in a bottle. They describe it as a Weiss beer with lemonade, and that’s exactly what it tastes like. At 4.2 ABV this is a great beer to chill with in the yard in the sunshine. I look forward to enjoying more as the days get sunnier and warmer.
This beer is light in color, and at 130 calories, I’d consider it a light beer.
Because it tastes like sunshine in a bottle; on a scale of 1(Bud Light) to 5, I’d give it a 4.5.
