If you didn’t catch part one now is your chance.
A few nights ago, before we had grilled stuft burritos, we desperately wanted dessert, but I didn’t feel like baking and am not a huge ice cream fan. I have seen people fry tortillas countless times on TV and in other recipes, but had never tried it myself. Well that has all changed. We’ve since had fried cinnamon tortillas twice. It’s all so simple, quick, and enjoyable. In this house, all the ingredients are always on hand.

- A few tortillas
Instructions
- Mix cinnamon and sugar together to your liking in a zip lock bag
- Cover a plate with newspaper or paper towels
- Cut tortillas into triangles with a pizza cutter
- Pour 1 inch of oil in a heavy pan and heat to 350 – 400 degrees
- Put in several tortilla pieces at a time cooking on each side for 10 – 15 seconds until brown

Notes
Make sure to work quickly, as the tortillas can easily burn. A great dessert if someone were to show up unexpected. You could certainly serve them with ice cream. These are in no way original, but they are delicious.
