Since today is Jeremy’s birthday, today has been all about him. I got inspiration for Jeremy’s birthday lunch/dinner from Two Boos Who Eat. They just finished a holiday in Hawaii. After reading some of their posts I researched some classic foods from Hawaii. One of them is a Hawaii Plate Lunch; I knew this was a meal Jeremy would love. But first, per his request, we started with homemade cinnamon rolls.
After cinnamon rolls this morning we went on a long walk to in some small way offset all of today’s delicious calories.
We had a late lunch of barbeque pulled pork, mac salad, and corn on the cob. We were both so hungry that we just dug in sans picture, but here are some of the tropical theme decorations I put up in the yard.
For Jeremy’s birthday dessert, I made peanut butter pie. This is the best pie ever, and it is so easy.
Easy as pie, wink wink. I love these little plates.
Gotta get back to more Phase 10.
Also, I am looking for guest posts for when I’m gone next week. Email me if you would like to post. acrumbfalls@gmail.com
