Occasionally, I will be struck with the need to create something. When this happens I have to respond. Sometimes this leads to baking, but I’ve done plenty of that lately and with 85% humidity something a little more sedentary seemed in order. So I decided to finish a crochet project I started months ago.

Meet Gareth the Giraffe.

Gareth is a belated welcome to the world present for Jack who is the baby of our good friends Jay and Jessa. We get to see them in 2 weeks in Tenessee; it will be a great trip.

I have one more present to make for  Jack, a robot blanket. When creativity calls, you must listen.
